Denver – Oct. 27, 2011 – Accuvant, the only research-driven information security partner delivering alignment, clarity and confidence to enterprise and federal clients, today announced that Michael Raggo, an Accuvant solutions engineer with more than 20 years of security technology experience, will speak about wireless security and incident response at two national industry conferences in the coming weeks.
Raggo will talk about how the ubiquity of mobile computing has brought a plethora of vulnerabilities introduced by devices such as iPads, mobile POS devices, and wireless handhelds. He will explore recent attacks focused on exposing cardholder data, enumerating network credentials, and obtaining end-user data. Raggo will also discuss incident response and forensic analysis techniques specific to wireless, review open source and freeware tools, and outline the steps associated with performing a forensic analysis.

Michael Raggo, CISSP, NSA-IAM, CCSI, SCSA, ACE, CSI, applies more than 20 years of security technology experience and evangelism to the technical delivery of security solutions. Raggo’s technology experience includes penetration testing, wireless security assessments, compliance assessments, firewall and IDS/IPS deployments, incident response and forensics, risk management, and security research. Raggo conducts ongoing research on various data hiding techniques including steganography.
