San Francisco – February 24, 2014 – Accuvant, the Authoritative Source for information security, today announced the appointments of James Christiansen and James Robinson to the Accuvant Office of the CISO. The information security executives join Accuvant chief security and strategy officer Jason Clark in a mission to bring value to the chief information security officer (CISO) community by helping executives think differently about their strategy so they can change, innovate and be more successful.
“The CISO role is relatively new to organizations, and is an executive function that requires a unique combination of security, technology, process and business expertise,” said Clark. “James and James each have the experience to help organizations go beyond technology to resolve their struggles and tangibly connect information security policies, procedures and practices with business goals. I am truly looking forward to combining their expertise with those of Accuvant’s talented information security consultants. Together, we’ll be able to affect positive change while advancing the security industry as a whole.”
Christiansen was formerly the chief information risk officer for Evantix and chief security officer for Experian Americas.
