Blue Coat Award Shines Light on FNS ThreatAssist Team

For the second time in just over a year, Blue Coat Systems recognized Matthew Shrock, an escalation engineer with FishNet Security’s ThreatAssist team, as the Best BlueTouch Support Partner (BTSP) Engineer of the Quarter (Q1) in the Americas.

Each quarter, Blue Coat Support Center engineers and managers come together to acknowledge the importance of the contributions of BTSP engineers to Blue Coat’s success. According to Blue Coat, the BTSP award “recognizes competence and professionalism in supporting mutual customers and collaborating with Blue Coat’s Customer Services team.”

Shrock started as a support engineer with FNS in 2010 and has been the primary escalation resource for Blue Coat issues for the last two years.

“Matt is an exceptionally talented network security engineer,” said Philip Gill, Director of Support Services. “His knowledge and expertise of Blue Coat is of great benefit on a daily basis for our ThreatAssist clients.”

Shrock isn’t the only one to bring home the award. In addition to his two wins, Support Engineer Cassey Vravel has also been honored.

“Having multiple winners on the ThreatAssist team helps validate the level of ability that our team can provide when clients face critical Blue Coat issues that need to be resolved quickly and efficiently,’ Gill said.
