Matt Lammers has 20 years’ experience in both consulting and corporate enterprise environments. His experience ranges from SMBs and the public sector to Fortune 500 corporations in a variety of verticals and industries.

Prior to joining Optiv, Lammers served as CISO and HIPAA Security Officer at a large public healthcare organization as well as CISO at a renowned Australian university. He previously spent nearly 10 years at IBM and several years in the Big 4 at both Deloitte and EY. Prior to joining Optiv, Lammers was Global Head of IS Risk Management at ABB in Zurich.

Lammers earned a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and has been a CISSP in good standing since 2003. Matt is a prior PCI-QSA and HITRUST CCSFP and has previously held US Government security clearances.
