Unfortunately, their security team was spread too thin and independent teams individually sourced their own security tools. To maintain a high degree of coverage across GTD, it was crucial to unify their security programs across their entire environment into one common framework. By rationalizing and prioritizing security use cases, we then developed a plan to cover each individual location. After confirming installation in the correct environments, we began fine-tuning by filtering out false positives, integrating products into the SIEM (security information and event management) tool and firewalls, while focusing on priority alerts.
