RSA Conference’s mission is to connect you with the people and insights that will empower you to stay ahead of cyber threats. Collectively the conferences draw over 45,000 attendees per year, making them the world’s largest provider of security events. However, the real value of RSA Conference lies not in its size, but in the valuable content it provides and its commitment to finding new industry voices and new ways for the community to feel inspired and engaged.

Three Optiv experts will be speaking at the conference this year.

Security in the Cloud: Evolution or Revolution?
Who/Topic: JD Sherry, vice president, cloud security & strategy, will moderate a six-person panel discussion hosted by the Cloud Security Alliance. As cloud becomes more and more widespread, information security teams are rapidly adjusting their risk management practices and adapting their tools to ensure their organizations receive optimal protection from new threats, while taking advantage of cloud’s inherent benefits. The expert panel will focus on questions around the ever-changing issues with enterprise cloud strategy, as well as with crafting a cloud security roadmap.
When/Where: Monday, Feb. 13 from 1:50 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. | Marriott Marquis Yerba Buena 5

Machine vs. Machine: The New Security Paradigm
Who/Topic: Sean Cordero, senior executive director, office of the CISO, joins a CSO Magazine-hosted panel of security industry leaders for a future-focused talk on the role artificial intelligence and machine-based learning will play in the defense lifecycle. With data volume flowing through networks increasing exponentially and staffing shortages showing no sign of abating, the stakes are higher than ever.
When/Where: Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. | Four Seasons Veranda Ballroom A

To Source or Not to Source? Is That Really the Question?
Who/Topic: Kevin Fuller, executive director, office of the CISO, will focus on one central question every organization must answer: which functions in their information security program to outsource? From that central question, his presentation will aim to answer: How do you decide what stays and what goes? What criteria would you evaluate your program against to mark certain functions off-limits? This peer-to-peer session will focus on the scars and successes of others to flesh out best practices in security outsourcing.
When/Where: Thursday, Feb. 16 from 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. | Marriott Marquis Nob Hill A
