Largest Cyber Security Organization Ranked on the List

Denver – September 1, 2016 – Optiv Security, a market-leading provider of end-to-end cyber security solutions, today announced that it has been named to this year’s Inc. 5000, a ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies in North America. Optiv is number 3,375 on the list, with a three-year growth rate of 97 percent. Optiv is the largest cyber security company on the list with nearly $1.9 billion in gross revenue in 2015.

Methodology

The 2016 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2012 to 2015. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2012. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2015. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2012 is $100,000; the minimum for 2015 is $2 million.
