Known for his ability to drive growth at scale, he has a longstanding track record of accelerating revenue, expanding market presence and delivering business results for top cybersecurity and infrastructure software firms. As chief revenue officer (CRO) for Optiv, he oversees the company’s revenue-generation strategy, go-to-market approach, global partner program and leads services to drive sustainable growth. Forkan joined Optiv from Black Duck Software, where he led worldwide sales strategy, including direct sales, channels and alliances and revenue operations as CRO. Previously, he led the worldwide sales and the go-to-market team for Carbon Black and security solutions at VMware/Broadcom. His career also includes building high-performing teams and enhancing sales performance at leading organizations such as Cisco, Oracle, Symantec/Veritas and Ernst & Young (EY). Forkan holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and management from McMaster University.
