Who is Optiv Canada?

We’re a Toronto-based Canadian subsidiary of Optiv Security - a cybersecurity solutions integrator (SSI) headquartered in Denver, CO, USA, - and we provide cybersecurity consulting, assessments, products and services to businesses and governments.

Canadian businesses and government entities can benefit from our experience supporting thousands of clients. We know the solutions landscape and understand the challenges you face every day – because our unique team of former CISOs, security technologists and operations experts leverage an “I’ve experienced that, and solved that” perspective. The result is solutions that help clients maximize and communicate the effectiveness of their cybersecurity programs.

As an entrenched Canadian business - we offer a global reach with a local touch and provide local security experts, combined with our ability to draw on our worldwide capacity and international experience as needed. No other security solutions integrator can provide this combination.

We’ve focused on further strengthening our in-country services capabilities to better meet the demands of the Canadian public and private sector organizations, concentrating on expanding our expertise across Canada.

How are we different?

We take a strategic inside-out approach to cybersecurity. While the traditional threat-centric “outside-in” approach focuses first on identifying specific threats and then reacting with technology procurement, we start with the core requirement of every enterprise - risk mitigation - and build out from there with strategy, infrastructure rationalization, operations optimization and ongoing measurement.

It’s a sustainable risk-centric foundation, implementing proactive and measurable security programs that are far more effective at reducing current and future risk than any other model. We provide strategy with execution - we stay with you all the way – delivering the clarity to get and keep your security tight and right.

We’re a Trusted Advisor in the Canadian market

Organizations in financial services, manufacturing services, infrastructure services and government have turned to us. We’ve achieved a top ranking with large Canadian companies (1,000 employees+) in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Risk Management and Transformation, Threat Management, and Security Operations.

"In 2019, Optiv was named a Major Player on the IDC MarketScape: Canadian Security Services 2019 Vendor Assessment."

- Security Services Integrator Recognized for Investment in Local Market as well as Breadth of Services and Extensive Technology Partnerships

Canadian market benefits from breadth of services

Private and public sector entities in Canada are served with expansive local resources and provided with access to our comprehensive service offerings. This helps remove complexity, align the right technology and processes to business needs, and optimize security investments to minimize cost and maximize protection.
